Fresh & Active Sourdough Starter

We’ve been making sourdough for a couple of years now, and I love how it can be as simple or as complicated as you’d like. With flour, water, salt, and a starter, you can make beautiful loaves, fresh bagels, sourdough discard crackers, pancakes, and more!

With each order, you will receive 100g of fresh sourdough starter, fed to order and ready to use, with basic starter feeding instructions.

Because the starter is alive, you must pick it up promptly or coordinate a pickup time by letting us know when you’d like to pick it up (in the comment box at checkout). You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup (we’ll aim to have it ready within 24 hours of your order) and your starter will be stored in a glass jar in the cooler on our farm stand for you to pickup at your convenience.
